From live delivery to lasting impact: What DPRTE 2026 shows about Event Momentum
Obviously, we are not going to cover all the work Event Momentum has been delivering recently, but DPRTE 2026 is a strong example of why our approach matters and how it translates in practice.
With over 3,000 attendees each day and more than 300 exhibitors, DPRTE operates at a real scale within the UK defence procurement community. But beyond the numbers, what stood out was how clearly the event’s story was shaped and shared to support both visibility and continued growth.
Event Momentum’s core focus is on marketing events, driving attendance, and building strong, recognisable brands online. Supporting live, on-site delivery is a natural extension of that work, allowing us to apply the same structured approach in real time and strengthen the way events are perceived and understood as they happen.
In the lead-up to this event and building on the great work already done by the in-house social and content team over the past few months, this meant working closely with this talented team to understand the event from the inside out, from agenda and stakeholders to audience priorities, and shaping a pre, live and post-event content approach designed to maximise reach, engagement, and long-term value.
On-site at Farnborough International from 24–26 March, that preparation enabled consistent, real-time delivery. Speaker interviews, stakeholder perspectives, and key moments were captured and shared across LinkedIn and X as the event unfolded. This ensured the event maintained a strong digital presence throughout, reinforcing its market position while supporting ongoing audience growth and future demand.

The Event Momentum Sell-out Framework
This is where Event Momentum comes into focus.
Events do not begin when doors open, and they do not end when they close. The real value is created through how they are positioned, amplified, and sustained over time. Content is the thread that connects each stage, turning attendance into engagement and engagement into long-term visibility.
DPRTE demonstrated this clearly. A structured content approach helped extend the event's reach, highlight key voices, and reinforce its position within the sector.
Looking ahead, this approach is being developed further through ‘The Event Momentum Sell-out Framework’. This upcoming, free-to-download (no data capture!) infographic sets out a clear structure for building demand, maintaining attention, and delivering results for events that need to perform at scale.
Alongside this, there is an increasing focus on how events are positioned and discovered through well-structured digital content. Clear, consistent answers to core audience questions play an important role in building visibility and credibility over time.

Event Momentum supports this by ensuring events are not only delivered effectively but are also supported by content that strengthens their presence before, during, and after they take place.
For organisers looking to strengthen how their events are seen, understood, and remembered, this is where Event Momentum delivers lasting value.
